GENERAL

Hotel El Cortés (from here named as the "Hotel") is a property operated by Namron Hospitality Group.

The general terms and conditions herein together with the privacy policy, bookings & cancellations policy, fee schedule & hotel schedule, and add-ons available on the hotel website and the booking confirmation issued by the hotel confirming your booking ("booking confirmation") shall constitute a legally binding contract between you and the hotel and shall be further supplemented by the internal rules and regulations that apply specifically to the hotel where you have booked your stay.

In these terms and conditions, the words "we" or "us" means the hotel and its employees, officers, agents, suppliers, and vendors, and the words "you" or "guest(s)/guest(s)" means any and all persons for whom a hotel room is booked.

The guest(s) hereby confirms that they are the owner of the registered credit card(s) left as a guarantee in their reservation and authorize us to charge all the costs of rooms, additional services, consumption, food & beverage, damages, incidentals, deposits, and penalties related to their reservation(s) before, during, and after their stay.

DEPOSIT POLICY

Depending on the selected rate during the booking process, a deposit fee will be collected according to the conditions indicated in the hotel's policies.

By completing this booking request, you certify that you are the cardholder and authorize us to charge your credit card automatically with the amount due at that time. All non-refundable rates will be collected in full upon booking. In case of problems processing this charge on your credit card, we will contact you by email to request updated payment information.

You understand that any non-refundable rates and special reservations mentioned in the hotel cancellation policy are charged in full on the date the reservation is made and cannot be modified or canceled.

A pre-authorization amount of $50 USD per night will be held on your credit card upon check-in as a guarantee for any incidentals during your stay. It will be released within 24 hours after check-out.

To ensure the security of your transaction, you must present the physical credit card used to pay for the reservation at check-in. If the original card is unavailable, you will need to provide a new card for payment, and the previous charge will be canceled. Additionally, a valid ID matching the credit card details is required. Our staff will also request the verified cardholder to sign a registration card that includes a payment authorization.

We recommend reviewing this policy before your arrival to avoid any inconvenience.

BOOKINGS

Bookings may be made online at hotelelcortes.com, through online and offline travel agencies, through our call centers, or directly at the hotel.

All prices are quoted in US dollars and do not include applicable hospitality taxes.

The hotel accepts payment from Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit/debit cards. Payment by check is not accepted.

Once your booking has been successfully completed, a booking confirmation will be issued with reference to each room booked and sent to the email address provided. You must produce your booking confirmation(s) upon check-in at the hotel, together with your original valid photo identification document (passport, national ID, driver’s license, or other ID as required).

If you do not receive your booking confirmation(s) within 24 hours of booking, please contact us via the hotel website, phone, or email. The guest named in the booking confirmation must be the person staying at the hotel; otherwise, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.

During the booking process, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of guest details, stay dates, room types, room rates, number of guests, and add-ons. The hotel will not be liable for errors in booking details. Bookings are accepted subject to room availability.

The only valid booking sources are our official website and verified OTA profiles. Any other booking source is invalid, and the hotel reserves the right to refuse such reservations.

GROUP BOOKINGS

For groups of up to 3 rooms, standard booking and cancellation policies apply. For 4 or more rooms, group policies apply. A reservation of 8 rooms is considered a buyout and requires a special contract. Separate rates and policies apply to buyouts.

Group Deposit Policy:

  • 4 rooms: deposit equal to the total amount collected 30 days prior to arrival.
  • 5 rooms: deposit equal to the total amount collected 60 days prior to arrival.
  • 6-7 rooms: 50% deposit, remaining 50% due 30 days prior to arrival.

Group Cancellation Policy:

  • 4 rooms: free cancellation if requested more than 30 days before arrival; otherwise 100% charged.
  • 5 rooms: free cancellation if requested more than 60 days before arrival; otherwise 100% charged.
  • 6-7 rooms: 50% cancellation fee if canceled more than 30 days prior; 100% if within 30 days.

NON-REFUNDABLE RATES

Non-refundable rates cannot be changed or canceled. Total cost including taxes will be charged upon booking.

PACKAGES

All bookings and promotions for packages are non-refundable. Full amount billed at booking.

ROOM RATES

Room rates are per room, per night. Meals and add-ons are not included. Rates do not include service tax, VAT, or other charges, which are billed in USD.

RESTRICTIONS

No-smoking policy applies in all rooms, patios, balconies, and public spaces.

A $200 USD cleaning fee applies for violations. Non-compliance may result in termination of stay without compensation. Guests are liable for any resulting damages.

Prohibited items include: bedding, electrical appliances for cooking or heating. The hotel reserves the right to remove items and charge for any damage or loss caused.

The hotel may require guests to leave immediately if rooms are used irresponsibly, compromising safety or causing damage, without compensation.

CHILDREN

Children 12 years and older are allowed.

PETS

Pets are not allowed.

HOTEL DRONE POLICY

Operation of drones is prohibited within hotel property unless authorized. Unauthorized operators are liable for damages or legal consequences.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Check-in: 3:00 pm. Rooms held until 9:00 am the next day; no-show may result in cancellation. Minimum age: 18 with valid ID. Pre-authorization $50 USD per night.

Early check-in: subject to availability. Luggage storage available.

Check-out: noon. Late check-out may incur additional night charge or use of luggage storage. Hotel not liable for loss or damage to belongings.

CHANGES

Guest name changes allowed if made 3 days or more before check-in. Changes to dates, room type, or duration require cancellation and new booking.

CANCELLATIONS

Strict policy applies depending on selected rate. Non-refundable rates and prepaid packages are not eligible for refunds.

All cancellations must be sent via email. No phone cancellations accepted. Early departure or no-show will be charged in full.

Credit card refunds may incur 10% fee; bank transfer refunds 5% + $50 USD.

DAMAGE

Guests are liable for any damage to rooms or property. Hotel may charge credit/debit card for compensation and commence legal action if necessary.

RIGHT TO REFUSE ACCOMMODATION

Hotel may refuse accommodation or terminate booking for fraud, altered bookings, or mismatch of guest identity with booking confirmation.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Hotel is responsible for providing rooms and add-ons confirmed in booking. Not liable for circumstances beyond control, including force majeure. Guests are advised to obtain travel insurance.

PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

Hotel may use guest information for booking processing, customer support, marketing, and legal compliance. Guest consent is implied upon booking.

COOKIES

Cookies are used to maintain sessions, analyze website usage, and target content based on location. Disabling cookies may affect website functionality.

COPYRIGHT & TRADEMARKS

Hotel website content is property of the hotel and/or content suppliers. Use for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

DISCLAIMER

GOVERNING LAWS

Bookings governed by laws of Mexico; disputes settled in Mexican courts.

CHANGES TO TERMS & CONDITIONS

Hotel may amend terms and conditions at any time. English version prevails in case of conflict with translations.
